I've circled the same 6 points on the housing and the mirror for quick referenced. Here is the mirror housing: Here is the replacement mirror part: Now, in the mirror housing, the circular plastic piece that has the 6 prongs on it is removable. This was actually attached to the mirror when I picked it up off the road. The problem here is that it's really difficult to install on the 4 prongs that attach it to the mirror housing when the mirror is already connected to it. So I assumed that this circular piece has to be connected to the housing first, and then the mirror should just slide right onto the hooks that are visible (red circles). Everytime I try to slide it on, it doesn't click or snap and it stays really loose. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to securely install the new glass? Thanks in advance,Josh.
